We value...

Our core values are the underlying principles that guide us in making decisions, determining priorities, setting goals, allocating resources, and carrying our vision. They are the defining characteristics of Oasis City Church and are drawn from the Bible.

  • God's Presence

In everything we do and everywhere we go, we want to create an atmosphere where God’s tangible Presence dwells. His presence is where God stuff happens ~ miracles, signs and wonders. We hear His voice, talk to Him through prayer, and learn to be a doer of His word.

    John 10:3-4, Hebrews 10:19-22, 2 Corinthians 3:16-18, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, James 1:22

  • knowing God as Father

Experiencing God as our true Father just like Jesus did will change our lives. Every child of God needs to feel, know, and experience the unconditional, extravagant love of Father God.

    John 14:6-13, Luke 15:11-32, Romans 8:35-38

  • healing life's hurts

Before we can truly love others, we must love ourselves and that means allowing the Spirit of God to transform our spirit, soul and body. Our Father is able to reveal to us the issues and hurts that need healing and how to become whole.

    2 Corinthians 7:1, 2 Corinthians 3:18, John 16:14, John 15:1, 1 Thessalonians 5:23

  • empowering people

Every believer is a supernatural minister of the gospel. The anointing is the power of the Holy Spirit that sets us free from poverty, brokenness, sickness, and oppression from demonic forces. We desire to equip the church to receive these breakthroughs and release this freedom to others.

    Luke 4:16-21, Luke 9:1-6, Luke 10:1-9

  • reconciliation

One of the things close to God’s heart is reconciliation. Our Father wants us to be reconciled to Him first, and then reconciled to mankind. Having this heart for diversity doesn’t just mean loving people of other races, it means treating equally those of different gender, culture, socioeconomic status, and those who simply have different personalities from us. In a divided society, the church must model unity.

    2 Corinthians 5:18-20, Galatians 3:28, Revelation 7:9

  • generations

We are a multi-generational church who honors all age groups and acknowledges that each is essential to the Body of Christ. We have a strong emphasis on ministry to children and students while providing opportunities for people of all ages to experience God and to learn Biblical truths.

    Matthew 19:14, Psalm 145:4

  • leadership development

Everyone can be a person of influence, a leader, and a disciple of Christ. When we follow Jesus, receive His unconditional love, and deal with our issues through His power, we develop true character, anointing, and authority. We are commissioned by Him to make disciples of all nations.

    Matthew 9:35-38, Matthew 28:16-20, 2 Timothy 2:2
