Sarah Conley, along with Faby, another IFI member, host a weekly Bible discussion group for female international students at Sarah’s apartment. Some are from Muslim backgrounds, some Hispanics and a smattering of other countries/religions/cultures. On Mar 1, we will celebrate Lent with these students at my house. We will serve a meal with dishes typically served during Lent. Sarah & Faby will lead a discussion afterwards about the significance of Lent as leading up to Easter. They will also compare Lent/Easter to Ifthar/ Eid. Dave & I will provide the main dishes. I need someone to help me serve and clean up. I could also use a salad or other cold side and/or a fruit dessert.
