Kathy Chiero Bio and Introduction:
Kathy Chiero is a 23 year Realtor serving the Central Ohio area. She leads The Kathy Chiero Group (KCG) real estate team: 6 Assistants and two full-time, licensed office personnel. KCG is one of the top-selling teams in Columbus and regularly ranks in the top 1% of sales in Ohio.
Kathy comes from a military family of six siblings and 13 moves before graduating from high school. Along the way she learned the importance of well-planned and executed move.
Her first career was in radio and television. As a 20-year Producer/Reporter for the Fox-Family network, Kathy traveled the world and the United States as reporter.
She also took her skills to the classroom, training hundreds of young video writers and reporters to work in the electronic media. This combination “dovetailed” perfectly into a career in real estate sales. Understanding that the best client is a well-informed client— education is the foundation of her relationship with her clients.
In 2012 - with 16 years of experience and thousands of homes sold, Kathy turned her interest to what she saw was a burgeoning demographic and challenge: 9000 Americans a day were turning 55 and 81% of these Americans had a home to sell. (And STUFF to purge!) Kathy developed what has become the industry standard for downsizing seminars “DownSize Columbus”. Over 4000 homeowners have attended this seminar learning how to start on this transition. Resources and experts give answers and attendance gives the greatest gift: they are not alone!
